
Artist Workshops & Mentorship Talks
Kari Morgan is an artist and leadership speaker who focuses on heritage, First Nations Fine Arts, physical health, and the pursuit for passion.
She has done multiple talks and art workshops at elementary schools, middles schools, and high schools in Prince Rupert and Terrace as well as ValhallaFest, and the National Aboriginal Day celebration.
Elemental Formline Workshop
Hands on art activity.
Learn what Formline is and how to properly identify the designs. Learn about the basic rules for drawing ovoids, U shapes, T shapes, and how to put them together to then create different traditional animals and crests. Learn about the history, ownership, and its importance while encouraging questions and conversation.
An informative but relaxed class that will keep everyone engaged. Because of years and experience this workshop is for all ages and can easily be explained to many different age groups. Teachers, Parents, and Facilitators are also encouraged to join in.
Range from 45 minuets to 2 hours.
The slideshow/talk and art workshops have been created to be engaging enough so that children, of all ages from kindergarten to high school levels, as well as adults will stay interested and involved.
Mentorship Talks
Engaging slideshow presentation.
An inspirational talk about the many ways anyone can achieve their goals. It emphasizes the importance of believing in yourself, exploring your passions and interests, and learning about your heritage and history. The process of creating First Nations Fine Art and the fulfilment of pursuing a career you are passionate about.
It encourages you to explore and experience different cultures, volunteer and understand the significance of giving back to your community.
The talk stresses the importance of taking care of your physical and mental health, setting goals, and working towards achieving them. It reminds you to embrace the different phases of life, careers, and the lessons they bring. And to be a leader who inspires others to reach their full potential.
